This Jeff Gordon ESPN commercial got me thinking about all of the things I do with my sports heroes' numbers. I remember phone numbers by associating them with Yankees...like if the last four digits are 1836, I'll say to myself "Scott Brosius David Cone." I even use some Yankee numbers in my ATM pin code.
What about you guys? Do any of you use sports numbers in everyday life?
Sure, one of my passwords for a work system is 755660, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays' homerun totals. I feel ya!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I never considered using sports numbers for things, but now I might!
ReplyDeleteWe're receiving an entire new computer system at work and we were encouraged to use passwords connected with sports. So I did. But I'm not telling you what it is. Because it's a PASSWORD.

ReplyDeleteI don't use baseball uniform numbers mainly because I never remember them. I know Tulo is #2, but that's about it. I remember Walter Payton was #34. Fred McGriff is my favorite player of all time and I don't know his number off the top of my head.
I do remember 493 home runs and the 1994 AS Game and many many other things, but uniform numbers never really stood out to me as much as other people.
