I sent to Mr. Gullett way back in March, so this was about a nine month wait. I love the lefty slant to his signature. Gullett was a great pitcher for the Reds who signed a lucrative deal with the Yanks, only to have shoulder injuries derail his career. There is no doubt to me that if he was healthy, him and Ron Guidry would have formed a very formidable 1-2 lefty punch.
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

TTM Success: Don Gullett
It’s always enjoyable when a TTM envelope find its way home after a long wait. I knew this was an older one because the envelope was different than the ones I have been using over the last few months. I couldn’t read the postmark address due to smearing, so I just had to rip it open to see what was inside. I was pleasantly surprised to find this:
Congratulations. It looks like something's wrong with your graphic, though - I see a black rectangle with an exclamation point, not a signed card.
