However, when I got home from, it wasn't there. My wife told me nothing was delivered all day.
I checked the mailbox. I checked the backdoor. I even looked in the front bushes to see if maybe it had blown off the porch and landed in the mulch.
It definitely wasn't there. I checked eBay again. The tracking number still said it was delivered to my mailbox. I was stumped.
I contacted the seller and asked to confirm the address where it was sent. I decided to give it one more day before reaching out to the post office.
Luckily, at about 5pm yesterday, my wife texted me saying she thinks my envelope just arrived.
90s plates seem to be pretty rare. Glad it reached its destination safely!

ReplyDeleteGlad you got it! I've had problems in the past with people stealing mail out of our mailbox, and have switched most of our mail to our PO Box.
ReplyDeleteP-town nailed it. Today, it seems like most companies insert their printing plates into packs. I've pulled a few myself and have seen them pulled on numerous occasions. But in the 90's, it was like winning the lottery. Congratulation on the beautiful addition to your collection! Glad it eventually arrived safely.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on grabbing that plate. I have had my mail show up the next day when it says it was delivered. Every time, the mailman has scanned the package but forgot to take it out of truck. It can be very scary at times.
