I was flipping through a few old cards I had, and I came
across this 1961 Rocky Bridges. The name piqued my interest, so I read up on
him and liked what I heard. His name is one you'd hear in a baseball movie, such as The Natural.
He seemed to be a very popular player, despite not
putting up gaudy stats. In fact, here is a quote from his wiki page (so it must
be true!): "Rocky Bridges
looked like a ballplayer. In fact, he may have looked more like a ballplayer
than any other ballplayer who ever lived." How great is that?
I found some
posts that showed that Bridges is a great TTM signer, so I shot this card to
him, and got it back in a week. Very cool!
