Man, my Ty Hensley collection is slowing way down. In fairness, he hasn't pitched in two years and has just 42 innings to his credit since being selected in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft, so he's not exactly getting the hot prospect treatment by Topps.
The only cards I seem to need now are the rare parallels and autos. Well, cross another one off the list. Here's my newest!
This officially makes 79 different Hensleys, and 24 of those are certified autograph issues. That doesn't count my TTMs, either.
I would still love to reach 100 Hensleys, although that's getting tougher and tougher as my pace slows down. I'm not going to give up though!
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

Thanks, fashion shoes! I appreciate your support. Speaking of party footwear, do you have any wooden clogs for sale on your site? Let me know.
Delete79? How is this possible? How can I have more Torrens than you have Hensleys?
ReplyDeleteTorrens has been featured a bit more I think. And because you are nuts!
ReplyDeleteDamn. I misread the title. I thought you meant a Sherman Hemsley.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome,
I guessed Hensley Meulens - haven't seen one of his cards since 89 donruss...
