While it's obvious to most I keep my TTM adventures mostly to Yankees, I couldn't pass up the chance to land future HOFer Adrian Beltre's autograph to my collection. He's a great TTM signer, and I've been meaning to take advantage for some time.
The card got a bit beat up in the return process, which happens from time to time. No big deal. I did send two cards, including a Dodgers rookie, and that unfortunately didn't make it back to me. Sometimes Beltre signs two cards per person, but this was clearly not one of those times. Oh well. Hopefully he signed the card for a kid or a fan who wrote to him and didn't have a card to send.
Thank you, Mr. Beltre!
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.
Very nice! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool to see HOF level guys like Beltre return TTM autos. He is one of my favorite non-Pirates.
ReplyDeleteOn your SASE do you put there address as a return address as well as yours?
