I saw a few Jerry West TTM success through the Golden State Warriors team address, and as a basketball fan I really couldn’t pass up the chance to send to him. He is one of the greatest players of all time, not to mention a terrific ambassador for the game. Oh, and he’s the NBA logo too.
I didn’t have any West basketball cards, so I went on SportLots and picked up two cheapies. I literally didn’t even know what cards I was getting. I just found two recent ones that cost $.18 a piece from the same seller with low shipping (like $.60). I was happy with both of them when I got them in the mail, and I promptly shipped them off to West in hopes for an autograph.
In just a few short weeks, Mr. West sent both cards back signed and they look great. He also included a pamphlet on his new book. He is a true class act and I’m incredibly psyched to add these cards to my collection.
