I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

TTM Success: Jordan Cote
Yankees 2011 3rd rounder Jordan Cote signed my 2011 Elite Extra Edition for me recently. Cote has a big arm, but he's been struggling a bit in 2014. He had a very strong 2012 and 2013 in the GCL, showing fantastic control with strikeout stuff. He made the jump to low-A ball in 2014, where he struggled a bit coming out of the bullpen. He was demoted to short season Staten Island, and he hasn't quite found his groove yet. He's a big dude who throws hard, and I really hope he finds success these last few months and something to build on for 2015.
