Tony from The Common Card Man and I agreed to a small trade last week. I had a Julio Borbon shiny that he needed for his 2011 Topps Diamond Anniversary set, and I agreed to send it to him for a few Yankees. Shocking, right?
It's pretty exciting getting a trade package and not knowing what's in it. Tony didn't disappoint at all. He sent me a sweet Jorge Posada 2010 Topps Refractor, as well as a 2010 Topps 206 Curtis Granderson. This is actually my first Granderson Yankee card! Rounding out the lot was 2010 Topps Heritage Hideki Matsui World Series Game #6 card. I love this card because I was at the game!
Tony, thanks for the great cards!
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.
