I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

A PWE bomb with vintage
Stealthy blogger Wes from Jaybarkerfan's Junk send me PWE's all time. They are always assorted with great cards. The last one was no exception, as Wes sent me a vintage card - a 1970 Topps Joe Verbanic.
Sure, the card has been chewed a bit, but I don't mind one bit. It's a great card from a great set, and will certainly have a place in my vintage Yankees collection, which is growing all the time. The background of this card is very odd to me. I'm not quite sure where the photo was taken. Any theories?
Wes, really appreciate it as always, bro. I've got a stack of cards headed your way, and they should arrive any day now.
