I recently picked up this two card Jesus Montero lot. I now have the base card, the regular refractor, and the purple refractor. Hmm, only a red and a green away from the rainbow. Not sure if I'll pursue it, but we'll see! Anyhow, the seller forgot to ship this, so he or she threw in an extra Montero. I now have three of this card, so if anyone is looking to trade for one, let me know.
I'm about ready to see Montero's bat in the line-up, especially with Posada hitting .120. I know Jorge will bounce back from a rough start, but it's getting harder and harder to keep Montero in Triple A. Offensively, he is ready.
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.
