After just two weeks, Yankee pitching prospect Mikey O'Brien returned my card signed. He doesn't have the nicest signature, but I'm happy to add his auto to my collection. Mikey was a 9th round raft choice in 2008, and he is pitching well for Single A Charleston this year, striking out 56 in 59 innings with a 3.9 ERA. Now, you'll notice two other players on this card...should I send to them and try and get an auto? Venditte is currently in Trenton - he is the famous ambidextrous pitcher. Braboy hurt his shoulder last year and I'm not sure where he is.
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

I would not mail it to Venditte - I'm still waiting to see if I get a card back that I mailed to him about six weeks ago.
