I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

TTM Success: Rafael DePaula
Yankees prospect Rafael DePaula signed one 2013 Bowman Chrome from me in about three weeks time. DePaul is one of the Yanks' better pitching prospects, repetting the team at the Futures Game last season. He didn't finish strong last year, and he's been so-so right now in A+. He has a lot of Ks, but also a lot of walks.
I own a few other DePaula autos, and they look a bit different from this. I'm thinking he may shorten his signature when signing in bulk. Sure looks that way, right? Or maybe they are just all fake, who really
knows?

Awesome, I sent out a request to DePaula a while back too. This gives me hope :).
