...The Lost Collector will play. And by "cat" I mean my wife. Sorry, hun.
Anyhow, with the wife and child away visiting family for a few days, I decided to try and organize some cards. This is what my kitchen table looks like right now. It's frustrating.
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.
My wife is also out of town! Love her to death, but also definitely taking advantage of the time.
ReplyDeleteGlorious!

ReplyDeleteP-Town Tom said it. That table is awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Christmas morning.
I'm guessing/hoping you don't own a cat. I once had about twenty stacks of cards on a shelf in one of those big plastic shelving units and of course my 20 pound Maine Coon decided he wanted to jump right into the middle of them. I grabbed him but needless to say not without causing a big mess and a bunch of re-sorting.
ReplyDeleteWhen the piles get that big, it becomes more like work and less like a hobby.
