I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.

I'm running at Yankee Stadium...right now!
I set this post up to coincide with my start time in the 2011 Damon Runyon 5K for cancer research. Me and 5,000 others will be running on a racecourse through Yankee Stadium! We'll even be completing a few laps on the field, where I'm sure I'll pretend to make a catch against the wall.
This is the third year of the Runyon 5K for cancer research, and it's an honor to be part of such an amazing cause. I raised several hundred dollars for cancer research as part of my entry requirement. I know 5K isn't much of a distance (about 3 miles), but still cool to do it through the Stadium as opposed to running trails or in a park. I'll let you know how it goes!
