Johnny's Big Fun Game

The Big Fun Game is everywhere right now, and I love it. Not only is the contest enjoyable, but the prizes are very generous by the various bloggers running each iteration.

I was lucky enough to participate in Johnny’s BFG. Although I usually steal to make things more interesting, I decided to make a guess. I ended up with a prize that wasn’t stolen, and came away with a complete set of 1991 Donruss Diamond Kings.
It’s a cool set. Dick Perez was a busy guy painting all these portraits. The checklist is interesting. Some obvious choices, and some that look quite odd nearly 30 years later.
John was kind enough to throw in some other Yanks in my prize package, including another Tino ’99 Topp Tek I needed.
There was also a gaggle of prospect cards from the time when the Yankees system wasn’t churning out impact big leaguers.
Thanks so much, Johnny!
