In a completely out-of-nowhere move, Andy Pettitte has decided to re-join the Yankees. While they have starting pitching depth, Brian Chasman said that any time you can sign Andy Pettitte, you do. I agree. Will be a nice mid-year acquisition, I say. Welcome back, Andy!
I collected baseball cards from the late '80s through 2002. Then I went to college and when I came out, I was lost. There were too many brands, sets, choices, relics, autos, parallels, variations. It was a turn off. However, I slowly made my way back. So here is my attempt to venture back into the hobby. I'll buy a few packs of cards here and there, comment on some cards I have, send out some TTMs, and follow the progress of my Topps Yankees Project.
Andy's gonna need someone catch for him...
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to wonder about that guy ...
ReplyDeleteI've more or less gotten to the point that I want to see the old guys hang around as long as they can because it makes me feel older as they retire... if Pettitte can make a successful comeback, good for him.
